Photos of the damage, the position of the vehicles and the surroundings all help later.

Report the incident and note down your claim reference if you are making a claim.

Insurance claims
How insurance work is handled
If you are claiming through an insurer, report the incident to them first and make a note of your claim reference. We can then discuss the repair with you and, where appropriate, liaise with your insurer as the work progresses.
Whether a claim is made, and what it covers, depends on your policy and the circumstances of the incident. Your insurer will confirm what applies in your case, including any excess and courtesy car entitlement.
If you would prefer to pay for the repair privately rather than claim, we can quote for the work on that basis instead.
